On Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at noon around 2 pm, there was a tornado disaster that hit several villages in Temanggung area, Central Java. This incident caused some houses were damaged and there was also a fallen tree in the wind.
In Gondang Winangun Village, Temanggung, the wind crashed and caused the fallen trees in the public cemetery area and hit the house of the residents, consequently 2 homes damaged in this location. Other villages also hit by winds which were Kauman Dua, District Ngadirejo. In this location there are also some houses damaged by the wind, even the roof of one of the schools of Islamic School Ngadirejo also damaged by this wind.
Based on the report, there were no fatalities from the whirlwind incident in Temanggung this.
