Dozens of UNM Students Experienced into poisoning

A total of 38 students of Teacher Professional Program (PPG) State University of Makassar (UNM) experienced poisoning August 07, 2017. The incident started when, the students sorted out buffet meals and catering. Not long after, some students experience poisoning symptoms like nausea, dizziness and vomiting. As a result, dozens of students of Teacher Professional Program (PPG) should get medical treatment at two different hospitals in Makassar City.

 There were about 38 people rushed to Faisal Islam Hospital, with 21 outpatients and 17 inpatients. Meanwhile, there are also some victims who were taken to Bhayangkara Hospital. At the time of the incident, there were approximately 200 students attending this program.

At the time of the incident, the victims finished eating catering food provided by the campus. But not long ago, some students experienced vomiting and weakness. And immediately brought to the hospital. Currently, food samples have also been brought for further inspection.
