There was a fire incident in the Cibencoy village, Cisaat Subdistrict, Sukabumi District, West Java on Wednesday October 25, 2017 around 1:00 pm. As a result of the incident 59 people (19 households) were forced to evacuated their house burned out. Then all the victims were evacuated directly to the Cisaat Village Hall office.
The incident allegedly originated from one of the rented house which then quickly striked into another house. There are about 5 units of fire-fighting car deployed to extinguish the fire. At the time of the incident it was reported that there were 20 houses burned and one warehouse burned. There were no casualties in the incident. And the cause of the fire until now can not be ascertained whether it comes from electrical short circuit or from other causes.
The rented house is burnt down, the residents of the majority of migrants and trading around Cisaat District. At the time of the incident, the whole rented house was empty, because the majority of the residents were trading.
The whole building burned and the condition was flattened with the ground. but luckyly the incident was not to swallow the loss of life. However, due to this great fire, estimated material loss reached Rp750 million.
