floods hit two districts of Belitung and East Belitung. This incident resulted in thousands of homes soaked by floods and some road access was blocked. The flood that hit the two districts reached a height of up to 3 meters.
Flood in Belitung district caused 1 person died, 333 suffered minor injuries and 1812 persons were evacuated to safer places. While the floods that occurred in East Belitung resulted in 1 person suffered serious injuries and had 3944 refugees.
Some efforts are made to respond this disaster incident, such as evacuating the victim, conducting data collection of evacuated victims, providing health services to victims and refugees as well as reporting to know the disaster-related developments.
