2 speedboat collision occurred in the of the Muara Kumbang Waters. Speedboat was departed from the Baung river, Oki District to Palembang whereas Jaipongan speedboat from Palembang city to 18 Muara Padang. Banyuasin District, The collision occurred because Jaipongan turn against lane. The number of passengers of Jaipongan speedboat were 42 people, while Wawan Putra Speedboat were 38 people.
In this incident, 3 people reported died, 1 person missing, 13 person heavy injured and 11 person minor injured.
