The 7.4 Magnitude earthquake that occurred on August 2 in 147 km Southwest of Sumur, Pandeglang Regency caused casualties. Data compiled by the Health Crisis Center recorded 7 people died, 4 were slightly injured, and 2.133 people had to be displaced, with a total affected population of 33.678 people at 13 city/districts in Banten, West Java, and Lampung Provinces.
The Pandeglang District Health Office after the incident alerted the Puskesmas that were located far from the coast, even though not reported health facilities were damaged by this incident. The Lampung Provincial Health Office continues to collect data and monitor the impact of this earthquake in its area, especially in Bandar Lampung City and South Lampung Regency.
